Oh such a good reminder of the little things that make a difference, Elizabeth!
I went to a Waldorf school and feel like my whole first 20 years were infused by rituals.
The I missed them dearly when I moved away, travelled and went to uni later. But didn’t really know how to bring them back.
Now as I’m 30, I’m relearning what felt normal back then, somehow lost the nourishing rituals during my 20s. I thought they were so uncool and unnecessary 🫣
That's so interesting, I've spoken to a few Waldorf students, now adults, and they've said the same. They feel like they're returning to the rituals and rhythm again later in life ✨ And you're right, it's all in the little moments, the moments in-between.
We do every single one of these. Love love love it. Thanks to us going to a Waldorf school, we learned these rituals, also so wonderful in fostering connection to ourselves, with our loved ones, and with our world/nature.
Yes! How wonderful! We take inspiration from Waldorf education along with lots of other beautiful bits. Take what feels good and leave the rest ✨ Connection first always!
I love these so much and really like how you laid it all out. We do most of those but I always feel like the seasons creep up on me and I tend to miss the cross over times!
Thanks Kat. Yes, I know what you mean! I especially love this cross over times, like new little beginnings. An invitation for fresh energy, a do over in some cases! Sometimes life is busy and it's just a matter of acknowledging it myself, an awareness ❤️
