This conjures up such sweet images of joy and I love your ideas for celebrating and the prompts for reflection. The first half of this year has held many changes and turnings of the tide, so a wonderful reminder to take stock and remind ourselves of the abundance of the harvest and of what is yet to come. 🙏💫
Thank you so much 🙏 I find that's exactly what Lughnasadh can offer; that gentle reminder, a welcome pause and an invitation to reflect on the abundance in our lives as well as the areas that need tending too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
So, so lovely to find you here Elizabeth. How cool! We are home educators / unschoolers too!! Although our older two are adults now, so officially just the one of school age. I really love your beautiful ideas for celebrating Lughnasadh. We follow the Wheel of the Year too, decorating for and acknowledging each new Sabbat, sharing gifts of our time and connecting to the true season for us, which is the opposite to you in the Northern Hemisphere! We are much looking forward to Spring and appreciating the return of some sunshine hours.
Hey, that's so cool Bron 🙌 always pleased to connect with fellow home educators, especially ones further along the path who can offer words of wisdom! Our guys are 11, 8 & 6 ❤️ I'm so looking forward to following your work xx
I love these questions! Especially the inquiry about what is NEEDING tending and what is ready for harvest. I deeply FEEL that our lives are an ecology, that our creativity a Garden of our Gifts. The more I lean INTO this perspective, the more I honor the rhythms of each layer, listening and nourishing with care filled presence. I love how you translate all of this INTO a woven landscape for your children to immerse within. Giving them space to BE in their primal relationship to nature.
